A quiet Manitoba cottage hidden away on the prairie’s edge – a place to retreat and rest at a beautifully preserved country chapel home.

A wonderful place of solitude for one, a family of six or a getaway for two.  The cottage, adjacent to the 1940’s chapel which is our home, was the former space of The Old Church Bakery (now located in Steinbach).  This renovated space is all yours for your stay with its unique and charming features that delight the young and old.   

The cottage is furnished with a queen size bed in the bedroom, a 3-piece bathroom, a full kitchen, a sitting area with a gas fireplace and pull-out couch, a cozy loft with an antique 48” double bed.  

Everything you need… from a family-style breakfast brought to you in the morning to relaxing in front of the fireplace to making your own cup of tea.  The home cooked breakfasts, chosen from a provided list of delightful options, are carefully prepared and presented, using home grown and local products.  Gluten free options are available.  

Enjoy and explore the 3.5 acre country property with outdoor sitting areas, trails, fire pit, vegetable and flower gardens, and prairie skies perfect for star gazing.

Price: Single Occupancy: $135/night

  Double Occupancy: $150/night

Additional person(s) $25/night each. 

Children two and under stay free.  Families and Children are welcome.
